Delta Airlines decision makers had three main goals that encouraged them to pursue UEM solutions:

Jason Tutin, Head of Digital Development and Learning for Leeds Library Service, explained the process before using Unified Endpoint Management.
“Every time a customer returned a tablet, we would perform a factory reset to erase all personal data,” Tutin said. “But which also erased everything that was useful that we had preloaded on the iPad, such as the link to our online catalog to help customers borrow books.
Staff members had to manually reload the necessary content, which was far too time-consuming with 20 tablets to manage. The library service began researching UEM options after planning to expand to 150 devices.
Now they can erase user data without getting rid of preloaded content. Unified endpoint management also helps track, lock, and wipe data after the device is lost or stolen. Additionally, the organization can access tablet usage metrics that help gauge program effectiveness.

3. Rinnai Australia

One of the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic was the need to manage endpoints as the work environment shifted from onsite to remote. The Hartley Independent School District serves K-12 students in Northwest Texas. Larry Franks, the IT administrator and social studies teacher within the system, needed a way to help teachers self-manage the tablets they were given to facilitate classroom learning.
This was particularly important because the organization does not have a large IT department. Franks wanted a solution to help manage and deploy content to tablets.
