This 360 degree rotating fan can be magnetically charged, just like Apple’s MagSafe!
Renowned inverted, this 360 degree rotating fan is the modern replacement for traditional pedestal fans!
Pedestal and pedestal fans have been in use for ages. Their design has remained pretty much the same over the years, with no substantive complaints being made against them. They are reliable and trustworthy, and pretty much get the job done! However, I think a modern overhaul is eagerly awaited, and designer Yeonu Hwang seems to be feeling the same! Hwang felt that the movement of traditional pedestal fans is quite limited because you can only move them horizontally at a 180-degree angle. Plus, he also found the wire connected to those electric fans annoying because you almost always find yourself dodging it! Determined to revamp the conventional fan, Hwang designed ‘Reverse’. Reverse is a 360 degree rotating fan, more flexible than traditional fans, and cordless too!
Unlike an old-fashioned pedestal fan whose wings are powered by a mid-motor, Hwang’s reverse fan is powered by magnetic rails that spin and generate wind. Surrounded by axes of rotation on all sides, you can move the reverse gear to a full 360 degree angle. This allows you to rotate and position it as needed, so you always stay cool! And honestly, it looks pretty fun too, moving a fan back and forth, still feeling the wind blowing your face, and your hair being pushed out with it!
You can adjust the height of Rotation, by simply pressing a button on the control panel, present at the base of the fan. You can also control wind power and set a timer. No worries at all!
Now on to one of Reverse’s coolest features – you can magnetically charge it! It’s like MagSafe refill, but for a fan! You can attach the charger to the bottom of the fan and watch it charge, much like a MagSafe charger would charge your Apple Watch!
Reverse is an innovative and updated version of an age-old product that needed a much needed overhaul! It’s a simple design that solves many of the problems associated with traditional pedestal fans. Not to mention that it also looks super sleek and modern, while also being very high on the aesthetic ladder!
